A: In assembly occupancies,
the illumination of the floors of exit access
shall be at least 0.2 ft-candle (2.2 lux) during
periods of performances or projections involving
directed light.
B: Changes in elevation must be clearly marked
or indicated by a change in color.
C: Floor beveled extrusion must be ramped at a
slope no steeper than 1.2 ratio, 1/2" Height,
(i.e.) Floor extrusions must taper to 0 in a minimum
of 1"
D: Emergency lighting is required throughout the
path of egress and must operate for a min. of
90 minutes. Areas such as stairs, aisles, corridors,
ramps, escalators, and passageways must be illuminated
to an average of 1 foot candle with a min. of
0.1fc of light measured along the path of egress
at floor level. |
